You’re invited to the Creating New Knowledge Speaker Series during Undergraduate Research Week (May 22-26, 2023)!
Dr. Alvine Kamaha, assistant professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the inaugural Keith and Cecilia Terasaki Endowed Chair in Physical Sciences, will present “Hunting for the Universe’s Missing Matter” about her work on the LUX-ZEPLIN dark matter experiment, followed by a discussion moderated by Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Research and Undergraduate Research Center – Sciences Director Dr. Tama Hasson, with closing remarks from Vice Chancellor of Research and Creative Activities Dr. Roger Wakimoto.
