Join us to hear from Dr. S. Thomas Carmichael about the latest research in Alzheimer’s, the new FDA approved drug Aducanumab, how earlier diagnosis and intervention methods are improving and what people can do to slow the progression of this disease.

Dr. Carmichael is the Frances Stark Chair of the Department of Neurology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is also the co-director of the Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research at UCLA. Dr. Carmichael’s laboratory studies the molecular and cellular mechanisms of neural repair after stroke and other forms of brain injury.
