DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the "Facilitation Strategies for Engaging in
	 Unpracticed Conversations" workshop\, co-hosted by the UCLA Center for Ed
	ucation Innovation and Learning in the Sciences (CEILS) and the Teaching a
	nd Learning Center (TLC)\, and facilitated by JoAnn Roberts and K. Supriya
	.\n\nParticipants will identify and discuss the fundamentals of facilitati
	on and strategies to facilitate unpracticed conversations about racism and
	 other topics that can feel challenging to navigate. They will then apply 
	these strategies to a case study example to practice facilitation with the
	ir peers\, with an opportunity to discuss challenges and solutions. Finall
	y\, participants will commit to an action that they would like to take in 
	the next 3 months to improve their facilitation skills\, with the option o
	f CEILS and TLC support and follow up. The event will be held on Wednesday
	\, February 12\, 2025\, from 12pm to 2pm in Powell Library\, room 186. All
