The UCLA Alumni Association congratulates you on your monumental achievement! As you make the leap to becoming alumni, we’d like to invite you to The Classroom, a one-of-a-kind career-enhancing course for the Class of 2023. This six-week course has been designed with you, a recent UCLA graduate, in mind. This experience will help provide a significant advantage in enhancing and building upon your talents as you embark on your career.

This program provides examples of how to manage your career in its early days. It will also identify and untangle the elements needed to design the blueprint for your budding career through upward mobility and prepare you in applying for your next career opportunity. You are personally invited to participate in this offering valued at $500 at no cost to you (it is not transferable).

In this course, you will learn the following:

July 11 - Introduction

July 18 - Job search preparation 

July 25 - Transitioning into the workforce

August 1 - Career panel

August 8 - Managing the stress of finding a job

August 15 - Wrap-Up: Career Management 

 

This session of The Classroom is being taught by two nationally ranked former executive search recruiters - Amy Rueda,  and Gwenn Sabo.

 

The Classroom meets online via Zoom every Tuesday, July 11 through August 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (PDT)
