This training will share concrete, applicable and healthy habits for first year grad students interested in managing anxiety and conquering stress related to academics.
The objectives for this session include:
Understanding stress and identifying what it looks like for you
Learning some practical and immediate coping skills
Maintaining your resilience during tough times such as racial trauma, election season, and the pandemic while also pursuing a graduate degree
Knowing how to find/access helpful mental health resources at UCLA
