Jakara Movement Chapter UCLA

Jakara Movement Chapter UCLA Logo

The mission of the Jakara Movement Chapter (JMC) is to build a Sikh political campus voice through strengthening the power of Sikh and disenfranchised communities via civic engagement, strategic grassroots mobilization, and awakening based on vichaar (reflection), karam (action), seva, sangat, simran, shaheedi, and santokh. We are inclusive of all and committed to travel this path together in nimrata (humility) and daya (compassion). If you are interested in becoming a member, please fill out the interest form below and a representative from the organization will put you in touch with your local Misl council or provide instructions on membership. Membership is open to ALL Sikh college students in California, regardless if you have an established chapter on campus or not!
