Curls U

Curls U is an organization that promotes gender inclusivity, self love, body positivity, and community service in underrepresented spaces. Our vision is to create a welcoming space for marginalized communities on campus to practice self-love, and positivity. We create spaces for discussion amongst the UCLA community, engaging programs, and interact with the greater LA community. Curls U will utilize social media channels raise awareness on healthy hair to eradicate the majority's lack of knowledge on the topic. We will also host programs including but not limited to hands on hair style tutorials, networking, professional development, and gaining confidence. Curls U will provide service by partnering with local non-profit organizations and other UCLA service based organizations. These acts of service include but are not limited to tutoring, fundraising, and volunteering.
