BIOME

BIOME is a UCLA club dedicated to providing training, internship opportunities, and consulting networking for students interested in the biotech industry. Our members gain the skills and experiences required to succeed in professional fields, making them more marketable candidates for industry and medical positions. We offer exposures in academic, pre-professional, and consulting categories, as well as opportunities to conduct research and pitch solutions to real-world problems. In our consulting category in particular, we engage with companies to identify problems or areas for improvement that may not be their top priority. As a club, we take on these case studies, conduct research to develop viable solutions, and present them back to the companies for feedback. Our club is committed to diversity and inclusion, and we maintain high ethical standards and a code of conduct to ensure a supportive and respectful community.
