Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration

Time Sun 10/5 • 12:30PM - 5:30PM PDT

Fowler Museum

In honor of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, the Fowler Museum presents its first annual celebration spotlighting the vibrant Native cultures of Southern California. This inaugural event brings together Indigenous artists, knowledge holders, and community leaders for a day of art-making, food, music, poetry, storytelling, and performance. Rooted in the themes of the Getty PST Art exhibition Fire Kinship, the program centers Indigenous perspectives on land, kinship, and traditional ecological knowledge.
