Join us for Comics y Cultura: Healing Through Superhero stories for Geek Week! This panel discussion will highlight restorative cultural themes and social justice issues found in the creative media of comics, animation, and live action adaptations. Topics include the portrayals of intergenerational trauma, identity struggles, belongingness and community, and alternative healing perspectives in celebration of Latinidad representation and the revitalization of our multifaceted culture.
