Kirikou and the Sorceress

Based on a popular folktale from West Africa, this gorgeous animated film tells the story of the heroic toddler Kirikou, who must save his parents’ village from a flesh-eating sorceress. He encounters friends and foes on his journey to find and redeem the wicked Karaba, including a skunk, a monster who can drain waterfalls, and a wise man on a magic mountain. Featuring a score by acclaimed musician Youssou N’Dour.
