United Nations Association at UCLA Logo

The United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) is a membership organization dedicated to inform, inspire, and mobilize the American people to embody the ideals and vital work of the United Nations. UNA at UCLA, the organization’s official UCLA campus chapter, was founded in 2014. At the United Nations Association chapter of UCLA, we are committed to being a driving force for positive transformation, locally and globally. Our purpose is to passionately advocate for the sustainable development goals in alignment with the United Nations' framework, understanding that these principles are the cornerstone of a better future for all. We simultaneously aim to cultivate meaningful relationships with the United Nations community, recognizing that collaboration and engagement on a professional level are essential to achieving sustainable progress. Through our dedicated efforts, we endeavor to inspire action, foster awareness, and effect lasting change that resonates far beyond our campus community. Our members benefit from national UNA conferences, networking events, special qualification for fellowships/internships, and training to prepare them for a career with a global impact. Over the years we have held various events in collaboration with UNICEF, UN Women, and local UNA-USA chapters in the Los Angeles Area. Our chapter also hosted the first UNA-USA Case Competition in 2016, which expanded to a national level in 2018. We are the University of California Los Angeles' United Nations Association chapter, dedicated to advocating for local and global sustainability aligned with the United Nations framework, and nurturing professional relationships within the UN community. We invite you to join us as we empower change and elevate impact.
