United Students for Veterans' Health @UCLA

United Students for Veterans’ Health is a student-led volunteer organization serving veterans and advocating for veteran wellness. We work directly with Operation Mend, a UCLA Health program providing care for post-9/11 veterans with physical or psychological injuries. USVH volunteers have the unique opportunity to interact directly with veteran patients through virtual game nights and other interactive activities. Additionally, USVH members volunteer in the West LA VA's recreational therapy department where they are able to interact in-person with geriatric veteran patients.
