Public Health and Preventive Medicine Interest Group

The Public Health and Preventive Medicine Interest Group enables students to learn more about the field of public health and preventative medicine, participate in community outreach, and discover research opportunities. We strive to harness students’ passion for public health and encourage engagement in meaningful activities. We aim to foster connections with the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Fellowship program faculty and fellows and the Los Angeles Department of Public Health. We inspire students to envision incorporation of public health into their careers as future physicians and educate all on the importance of preventative medicine.
