Crocheting for Smiles
Crocheting for Smiles (CFS) is a student-based organization at UCLA that strives to help individuals struggling with depression and anxiety, amongst other mental illnesses and symptoms. The goal is to bring a smile to the students crocheting and the children from underserved areas who will benefit by receiving a student handcrafted stuffed animal. Engaging in CFS will provide students with new skills, a close-knit community, a healthier and therefore happier mind, and the opportunity to make a child smile.
