Our mission: “Utilizing innovative media tools to enhance rehabilitation, re-entry, and public safety, the Ben Free Project at UCLA confronts the drivers of mass incarceration, recidivism, and the criminal justice system. Through curated education, training, intervention, and self-help curricula for system-impacted individuals, our mission is to create social change while centering the voices of those most impacted by the carceral state.”
