Raas/Garba Team at UCLA
The Raas/Garba Team at UCLA is a competitive dance team that combines Raas and Garba dance styles. We organize a set of dances, and perform across the nation in states such as Indiana, Missouri, and Virginia. We also perform at cultural events on UCLA’s campus such as at the annual garba, and at high schools in the area to teach students more about the culture. We practice every week on our performance and foster a community with our members through socials.
