IGNITE @ UCLA

IGNITE at UCLA is a university chapter of IGNITE National, the non-partisan 501(c)(3) that seeks to empower young women to own their political power. Our organization is dedicated to advancing reproductive justice through advocacy, education, and policy. We aim to combat sexual violence across UCLA and beyond using a transformative justice framework. Our work prioritizes the well-being of survivors through a trauma-informed approach to advocacy. We do not rely on state mechanisms such as the police or prisons in order to administer justice. Instead, we aim to cultivate accountability, healing, and resilience in order to break cycles of systemic violence.
