HART at UCLA

HART at UCLA Logo

The mission of HART is to promote accessibility to mental health resources to students and promote holistic healing through the practice of art. As a mental well-being organization that focuses on healing and art therapy the purpose of this club is to encourage the practice of self care and self-reflection, and to provide service for the community by providing therapeutic events available to those in the community. HART at UCLA strives to show the importance of creativity and interdisciplinary skills in healthcare and STEM. Our organization leads events where students can appreciate art and showcase their talent at our annual art gallery alongside our diverse student body and medical students. Something special about medicine and art is that we use art therapy and wellness as a tool in medicine by volunteering in the community and utilizing our artistic abilities for hospital patients. There is a space for everyone: dancers, musicians, painters, photographers, videographers, and more. Join us in creating a space for creativity as well as professional development!
