Cranes for Cancer is dedicated to honoring individuals, or “cancer heroes,” who have shown resilience and courage in the face of cancer. In addition to fundraising throughout the event, each hero is presented with a shadow box containing 1,000 hand-folded origami cranes, crafted by members. There will be a speaker panel and tabling with event-related activities around the edges of the room.
