Since its inception, LA Hacks has always been more than just a hackathon. It's a vibrant community made up of all the organizers, the sponsors, the hackers, the mentors, the volunteers, and the people we hope to impact. And we plan on keeping it that way. As students, we understand that juggling academic commitments, job searches, and extracurriculars is overwhelming enough as it is.
From our karaoke nights to sessions with trailblazers in the tech industry, LA Hacks is a space for you to take a break from all of that. Find inspiration in the people you meet and the projects you create.
This year, LA Hacks is finally home.
As we celebrate our return to Pauley Pavilion for the first time since 2019, we're excited to welcome you home, too. Come join us from April 21-23, for 36 hours of building cool things, meeting cool people, and making cool memories with friends, both new and old.
Applications for LA Hacks are live at lahacks.com (guaranteed acceptance for students who apply with a ucla.edu email by the deadline).
Hackers must be currently enrolled in a high school or college, but UCLA alumni and faculty are more than welcome to participate in our event as sponsors, mentors, or judges—just shoot us an email at info@lahacks.com!
